How to enrol
Arranounbai is an SSP School. A School for Specific Purposes.
To attend Arranounbai a student is placed in the school through a placement panel conducted by the Department of Education. This panel manages placements into all supported settings in our area.
The process starts with the local school in your area.
You can use this link to search for the local school for your address --> https://schoolfinder.education.nsw.gov.au/
The counsellor at your local school will write an access request with you that outlines the support needs and school preferences of your child. The access request is then submitted to the Learning and Wellbeing Team.
A placement panel is held twice a term, considering all the access requests within the local area. Students are matched with the most suitable setting, dependent on vacancies. If successfully placed, an offer will be made to the family. Once accepted, an individualised transition can be arranged with the new school setting.
